Fun and Food

Chris and I had a wonderful "date night" to celebrate our anniversary! Primo was VERY good! We both ordered ravioli with butternut squash--YUM! We stopped by the mall after eating to look at some pendants of children. I would like one for a necklace with a boy and girl. It was nice to be able to do what we wanted at our own pace without the kids. We don't get to do that very often. After the mall, we went to the new Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen for dessert. Again I say, "YUM!!!!!" It was a great evening! Jack and Rachel had a fun time with Nana--as always! Papa was enjoying himself at the awesome UK game! 3 overtimes--unbelievable!!

Jack and Daddy had some fun bonding time together this afternoon. Jack has been wanting to go bowling for some time--so they went! They played 4 games and each won 2 games. Jack said they made a pattern--he won the first game, Daddy won the 2nd game, etc. It's a good thing they put those ball guards up on the sides to avoid gutter balls or it would have been a totally different afternoon. Tears would definitely be involved!

What a terrific weekend and a great end to Fall Break for Jack!
