We decided to carve our pumpkin last weekend! Jack was the designer of the face. As you'll see in the pictures, he drew the face on the pumpkin. After that, he took his pumpkin carving tool and punched small holes on the lines he drew to help make the cutting easier. One job he does NOT like is getting the "guts" out of the pumpkin. He left that job for Mommy and Daddy. He did stick his hand in the pumpkin one time, but that was it! Notice his facial expression in the picture! The mouth of the pumpkin was the hardest part to carve because it is a small mouth with small teeth--but we did it! Jack was very proud of his jack-o-lantern!
