Jack came home with a school progress report yesterday. He will begin going to a 1st grade classroom for reading on Monday!! The report says that his DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment) level is 4 which means he is above grade level in Reading!! Students in Kindergarten are expected to pass level 3 by the END of Kindergarten and Jack has already passed that level--before the Winter Break! We are so, so proud of him!!

The Teacher Comments at the bottom of the report say: Jack is progressing in all areas and will move to Mrs. Dill's 1st grade for Shared and Guided Reading. This will be for 1 hour 15 minutes each day--starting 12-3-07!
