After School Art

Jack stayed after school today to tie-dye a t-shirt. It was a fundraiser for the Arts program. Rachel and I went to help with the shirts. There were about 90 kids that stayed to tie-dye shirts! It ran very smoothly and there was plenty of help from teachers and parents. When it was over, Jack said, "It was funner than I thought it would be!" He was a little nervous about staying at first, but his buddy Keegan stayed, too. When Jack finished his t-shirt, he worked on one for Rachel. What a great big brother! After the kids finished their shirts, they got to enjoy a snack of popcorn and soda. Jack isn't used to drinking soda. He said the grape soda was "spicy." The shirts should be dry tomorrow afternoon so I will get a picture of Jack and Rachel wearing them!
