Shopping Day

Saturday was a fun day! Jack and Rachel went to visit MaJeanne with Nana and Papa. Chris and I went shopping to use our Old Navy gift cards we got for Christmas! Old Navy was having a big sale so that made it even more fun! I couldn't resist going to the little girl's section of the store. We got Rachel a cute outfit for Valentine's Day and a shirt that appropriately says "Sassy" and some jeans to go with it! Jack is into camouflage so we got him a toboggan that he wore all day Sunday! After shopping, Chris and I went to Southeast Christian Church to hear Max Lucado speak. It was awesome! His sermon was based on his new book called 3:16. We found out that Max's brother had passed away on Wednesday and he spoke at his funeral Saturday morning in Texas. Then Max flew to Kentucky to speak at Southeast Saturday evening. It was very cool of him to keep his obligation to speak under the circumstances. After church we went to eat supper at Mimi's Cafe. It was very good! It was a late night for everybody by the time we picked up Jack and Rachel and got home. Jack slept until 10:00 Sunday morning! That's the latest he has EVER slept in! Rachel woke up around 6:30, but went back to sleep until 9:30! It felt good to get to sleep in for once!!

I was wondering why I didn't see you at church today. Sounds like you guys had a great night out and got some much needed rest.
