Busy Wednesday

Rachel and Izzie have been reading books, playing house, and eating Mum Mums this week! They are having lots of fun together! There was a Fun Day at school this afternoon. Rachel, Izzie, Jodie, and I helped in the Art room. Kids got to rotate to several different stations--Gym, Technology, Movie/Snack, and Art. Jack had a great time! He said his favorite part was snack time. I think that's because he got to have pizza, popcorn, candy, and a soft drink. He chose Citrus Drop (a.k.a. Mountain Dew)! I couldn't believe it! I knew he would either be wound up or crash and burn! We went to church tonight to hear Bob Russell speak. It was great, of course! Jack got to make and eat a cinnamon turnover in his class--more sugar!! The teacher put a marshmallow in the center of the turnover, but removed it before cooking it. The marshmallow represented Jesus rising from the dead and not being in the tomb. I can't remember what else Jack told me about making the turnover and what the ingredients represented. I'll have to ask him again.
