We had a nice Easter! The Easter Bunny left a few surprises for Jack and Rachel. Jack got 2 Silly Putty eggs, a digging toy (like an archaeologist), and silly string. Rachel got a Brown Bear, Brown Bear board book, a purple rubber ducky, and an elephant rolling toy. While Jack was working on his archaeological dig Sunday morning before church, he said the Easter Bunny was pretty creative for giving him a toy like that! I was working in the nursery at church 1st service. Rachel and her friends were trying to catch bubbles! They were laughing and jumping--it was very cute! In Powerhouse, which is Jack's class, he got chosen to be in a juggling contest. When he threw the first plastic egg up, it went out into the crowd of kids and hit a girl on the head. When it opened water came out of it and got the little girl wet! He won the contest, though! After church we went to visit with family at MaJeanne's house. We ate a big lunch and finished it off with chocolate pie! Yum! The kids had lots of fun playing together. When the big kids got loud, Rachel thought she needed to get loud, too!
At school this morning, Jack was telling the other kids that there is no Easter Bunny. When I asked him about it, he said a little bunny isn't that clever! He said it's a person that is a midget dressed in a bunny costume that fills the baskets! Oh my! What am I going to do with that boy???

Very beautiful children!! It sounds like a great day!
They look great! That boy is too smart for his own good.
What adorable kids! Glad you had a fun Easter!
I was interested to read your blog. As a parent you may be interested in being part of a university study I'm involved with. It’s about how infants and children develop. It wouldn’t take much of your time, and it’s a great way to contribute to knowledge by reporting on your own experiences. For more details go to the following address after copying it into your browser window, www.babysleepstudy.org. Best wishes, Rebecca
