A Fun Saturday

We spent most of the day at home taking it easy. Jack worked all morning creating a clubhouse out of a medium-sized postal box. Rachel decided she needed a little clubhouse of her own! She and I worked on a Pampers box for her clubhouse. Jack played outside in his tree fort for a while. He and Chris practiced t-ball, had a racing contest, and played a game that Jack made up. We used gift cards for supper at Bob Evans. Rachel loved my chicken pot pie! After supper we went to Lifeway Christian Store to look for a devotion book to use with Jack. While Chris and I looked at books, Jack and Rachel sat on the floor to watch part of a Hermie video that was on a TV nearby. They were "glued" to the screen as you can see in the picture. Once we found a book, we needed a little dessert from DQ! A sweet treat is always a great way to end a fun day!
