80s Night

Last Friday night I went back in time to the 80s! My ladies group at church, Lydia's Ladies, had a Ladies 80s Night! It was mandatory to dress in 80s style! There was plenty of big hair and blue eyeshadow! Everyone brought a picture of them from the 80s. It was fun seeing how everyone looked back then. We had tons of great food, 80s records and cassettes, photo albums, a karaoke machine with 80s songs, and a DVD game called "Name That Tune" which had 80s songs. It was fun just to see what outfits everyone came up with and talking about trends from the 80s. My outfit consisted of jeans which I pinch rolled at the bottom, blue jellies with sparkles on them, a white t-shirt pulled to one side and held with hair scrunchies, big yellow hoop earrings, lots of jelly bracelets on my wrists, big hair with tons of mousse and Aqua Net hairspray and a big scarf, and blue and pink eyeshadow! It was a little embarrassing getting out of my car in front of some neighbors walking by.
