Jack's Big Day

Jack has been at Nana Camp all week with his cousins. Every summer Nana has all the grandchildren come to her house for a week of fun with their cousins. Rachel did not get to attend without me there because you must be potty-trained to stay at Nana Camp. Anyway, yesterday Nana Campers took a field trip to London, KY to swim in my aunt's pool. Throughout the day, Jack practiced swimming around the edge of the pool without floaties on his arms. Eventually he ventured away from the edge and realized he could swim and tread water!! He was SO excited and proud of himself. Of course he wanted everyone to watch him go down the slide and jump off the diving board without floaties! What a big accomplishment! The second part of his big day was FINALLY losing his top front tooth that has been loose for a very long time! When he got back to Nana's and Papa's house, he was drinking lemonade and his tooth came out! Last year during Nana Camp, Jack hit this tooth on playground equipment at the park and almost knocked it out. This year during Nana Camp, he lost it the right way!

Congrats on losing your tooth Jack. Nana camp looks like lots of fun. Jacob got ten dollars for his first tooth but the tooth fairy said only one dollar per tooth from now on.
