Today was WJIE Day at the State Fair. Chris had to be there early this morning and won't be finished until late tonight. What a long day for him! Rachel and I went to the fair for a couple of hours this morning to visit. There were some beach balls at the WJIE booth and Rachel enjoyed playing with those for a while. She had plenty of room in the South Wing to throw and kick the beach balls around. Chris took a break from the booth while we were there and walked around with us to check out some of the sights. Rachel wasn't sure about Freddy Farm Bureau! He was one of my favorite things about the fair when I was little. Freddy was talking to Rachel, but she wasn't having anything to do with him! She did tell him bye as we walked away. We took her to see the cows and goats which she loved! I always like to see the pigs at the fair, but they don't arrive until tomorrow. I may have to make another trip! Hopefully we will have a chance to go back to the fair and take Jack since he was in school today when we went. It was a fun little outing for Rachel and me! (I took a couple of pictures, but they turned out pretty dark.)

What fun! I always liked to look at the pigs too, but I sure didn't like the smell!
