Jack is 9 years old!

It's hard to believe that Jack turned 9 years old on Saturday. We're looking at double digits next year!! WOW! We had a great day! Jack went to Skate Camp at the park in the morning and loved it! He's really liking to skateboard these days. After that, we went to lunch at Hometown Pizza where he used a birthday coupon for a free individual pizza. When we got home, Jack got to open presents from his sisters and blow out candles on the delicious birthday cake that Rachel and I made. Rachel was so excited about the cake she made and decorated and the gifts for Jack. She got him a toy Mustang (which is Jack's absolute favorite car right now) and Lindy got him a little Tech Deck skateboard kit. Rachel also made Jack a special birthday card. Jack played with his friends in the neighborhood the rest of the afternoon. After the girls went to bed, we watched the movie "Some Like it Hot" starring Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. Jack thought it was funny! He got lots of great presents from family and friends.
