Chris and I went to the Galt House last night for the WJIE Valentine Banquet. The weather was not great, so it was a little scary driving to downtown Louisville. It was snowing and by the time I got to Louisville traffic was backed up and moving very slowly. Snow was beginning to cover the roads. I made it safely and we decided to just stay the night at the Galt House because they were offering a special snow rate. Jack and Rachel were spending the night with Nana and Papa so they were having a good time! Many couples braved the weather and came to the banquet to enjoy a dinner of salad, steak and salmon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. For dessert, we had a big piece of cheesecake with chocolate syrup drizzled on the plate. Mark Harris, an artist who used to sing with the group 4HIM, sang for about 1 1/2 hours. He was great!
