Surgery

I got a phone call this morning from the surgery coordinator at my doctor's office. She said that Dr. Basham offered to do my surgery today on her lunch hour. Her day to perform surgeries is Tuesday, but when she heard about what was happening with me, she offered to do it today. She is the best! We rushed around to get the kids to Nana and Papa and get to the hospital by 10:00 a.m. Everything went fine. I feel OK physically,--no pain--but am VERY tired. I have done nothing but sleep since I got home this afternoon. I'm glad the surgery is over and we can start to heal emotionally. Thanks for your prayers!
